He has been behind a camera for more than ten years and founded Loerop Photography, an editorial wedding photography studio, and Loerop Creative Studio, which builds websites for small businesses. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, Winnie.

Mike Loerop is a photographer and web designer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. His path to photography began in third grade, when he was trusted with the family camcorder, and took shape after he built a computer from scratch for a high school senior project and realized he could teach himself almost anything. He has been behind a camera for more than ten years, shooting on Nikon from his very first camera. He founded Loerop Photography, an editorial wedding photography studio built around three kinds of photographs (art, story, and legacy), and Loerop Creative Studio, which designs websites for small businesses. Friends describe him as kind, reserved, and good at explaining things. He holds a degree in Business Management Information Systems from Liberty University and lives in Charlotte with his wife, Winnie, and their ginger cat, Boba.
